1、 Event Introduction

The Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in China is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and the Torch High tech Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and organized by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee. It is the first city level innovation and entrepreneurship competition in China. This competition is divided into six industries: electronic information, internet and mobile internet, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, new energy and energy conservation and environmental protection, and new materials.

2、 Qualification for participation

Participants who have won the first, second, and third prizes in the finals of previous China Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will not participate in this competition; Participants who have won the first, second, and third prizes in the industry finals of previous China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition are not eligible to participate in the industry finals of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

3、 Participation conditions

This competition is divided into two categories: enterprise group and team group:

（1） Enterprise Group

1. technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises (non listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges) registered in Shenzhen or the Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone in accordance with the law and meeting the national classification standards;

2. Possess innovative capabilities and high growth potential, mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, production, and service of high-tech products, possessing intellectual property rights and no property disputes;

3. Standardized operation, good social reputation, and no negative records;

The annual sales revenue in 2018 shall not exceed RMB 200 million.

（2） Team group

1. Entrepreneurship teams with scientific and technological innovation achievements and entrepreneurial plans that have not yet been registered and established in Shenzhen or Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone before the registration deadline for this competition (such as overseas returnees, outstanding technology teams entering the implementation stage of entrepreneurship, college student entrepreneurial teams, etc.);

2. The core team members shall not be less than 3 people;

3. Plan to register and establish a company in Shenzhen or Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone within one year after the competition;

4. The products, technologies, and patents in the participating projects belong to the participating team and there are no property disputes.

4、 Competition regulations

In order to maintain the seriousness, authority, and impartiality of the competition, if a contestant encounters the following situations, it shall be deemed that they have automatically waived all rights and interests of the Shenzhen Innovation Competition:

1. The participating projects do not belong to the six industries of electronic information, internet and mobile internet, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, new energy and energy conservation and environmental protection, and new materials;

2. The products, technologies, and related patents of the participating projects do not belong to the participating teams, and there are property disputes. The provided competition materials are fake;

3. All shortlisted companies and teams who fail to sign in on time or prepare relevant competition materials as required;

4. The winning contestant fails to submit the award materials as required or fails to submit the relevant materials on time.
