Gu Kun and his delegation first visited the demolition sites of companies such as Feitel Communication, Zhanyang Props, Youqing Intelligent Environmental Protection Equipment, and Xinsheng Microelectronics Technology, as well as the western area of the industrial park. They conducted research on the operation of the companies, and had in-depth exchanges with the company leaders on the business environment, facility support, development plans, and current difficulties, in order to understand the overall planning and development of the park.

At the subsequent symposium, Gu Kun listened in detail to the report on the landing of the Huaikun Taiwan funded Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park project, the development plan of the industrial park construction, and the guarantee of land and other elements, as well as the subsequent promotion plan, work suggestions, and issues that need to be solved at the municipal level. The natural resources and planning, ecological environment and other departments of the city responded to relevant issues on site.

Gu Kun emphasized that the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, Municipal Party Committee, and Municipal Government attach great importance to and care about the construction of the Huai'an Taiwan funded highland. They need to further improve their positioning, make the construction of the Huaikun Taiwan funded intelligent manufacturing industrial park a top priority, and strive to build a window for the city to showcase its 'symbolic significance'.
