On the early morning of November 1, 2025, as dawn was just breaking, employees of Jiangsu Feiteer Communications Co., Ltd. set off on an unforgettable one-day tour of Zhenjiang, filled with anticipation. This carefully planned itinerary included visits to Zhenjiang's most iconic scenic spots known as the "Three Mountains and One Ferry" — Jinshan Mountain, Jiaoshan Mountain, Beigu Mountain, and Xijin Ferry. Moreover, the tour offered an immersive experience in the poetic ambiance of Furong Tower on Beigu Mountain, along with a delightful treat for the taste buds featuring authentic local cuisines, adding a unique touch to everyone's time beyond workdays.

For the first stop of our morning itinerary, we arrived at Jinshan Mountain. The core highlight of Jinshan Mountain is Jinshan Temple. This thousand-year-old ancient temple is not only renowned far and wide for its unique landscape of "the temple embracing the mountain" but also hides precious historical traces — inside the temple, there is a horizontal plaque inscribed by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty with his own hand. The calligraphy is forceful and magnificent; when pausing to admire it, one seems to feel the royal family's emphasis on this ancient temple through the strokes of the writing. After leaving Jinshan Mountain, we headed to Jiaoshan Mountain for the second stop of the morning. Jiaoshan Mountain is an island surrounded by water in the Yangtze River, known as the "Floating Jade in the River". Moreover, due to its profound Buddhist cultural heritage, it holds an important position in the Buddhist circle. When taking the ferry to the island, the river breeze brushed against our faces, the view was broad, and we took in the magnificent scenery of the Yangtze River in its entirety. After landing on the island, ancient trees towered into the sky, and pavilions and towers were hidden among the green trees, instantly enveloping us in a quiet and elegant atmosphere. Dinghui Temple on the island is a famous ancient temple in the Jiangnan region, where incense burns vigorously. Many employees stopped in front of the temple to feel the tranquility and solemnity of Buddhist culture. Everyone strolled along the winding paths, occasionally pausing to listen to the chirping of birds in the mountains. The comfort of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city relaxed both our bodies and minds.

Around noon, we went to a pre-booked restaurant for lunch. The restaurant had carefully prepared a series of Zhenjiang's specialty dishes, each emitting an attractive aroma. The tender and juicy Zhenjiang Vinegar Spareribs were sweet and sour with a rich vinegar fragrance, leaving a long aftertaste in the mouth. The Crab Roe Soup Dumplings, with thin skins and ample fillings, burst with delicious soup in the mouth when taking a gentle bite, making everyone exclaim in delight. There was also the refreshing and tasty Crystal Pork Trotter Aspic, with tender meat and a delicate texture, which tasted even more unique when paired with the dipping sauce. Everyone sat around together, savoring the authentic local delicacies while chatting about their feelings of visiting Jinshan Mountain and Jiaoshan Mountain in the morning. For the first stop of the afternoon itinerary, we arrived at Beigu Mountain. Beigu Mountain is famous for its precipitous terrain and is an excellent place to enjoy the scenery of the Yangtze River. Furong Tower, located on the mountain, is even more the "cultural highlight" of this trip. Climbing up along the steep stone steps was somewhat strenuous, but everyone encouraged each other and finally reached Furong Tower smoothly. Standing in front of the tower, the tour guide explained the cultural stories here in detail — Furong Tower became famous because of the poem Seeing Xin Jian Off at Furong Tower by Wang Changling, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. After leaving Beigu Mountain, we headed to Xijin Ferry for the final stop of our afternoon itinerary. Xijin Ferry is an ancient street with a history of over a thousand years. The bluestone slab roads wind and twist, and the ancient buildings on both sides are arranged in a neat yet irregular manner. The brick carvings and wood engravings are filled with the unique charm of the water towns in the Jiangnan region. The ancient street is lined with shops: there are small stores selling Zhenjiang's characteristic handicrafts such as paper cuttings and clay figurines, traditional snack shops emitting a fragrant aroma, and museums showcasing the historical changes of Xijin Ferry.
