On the early morning of November 1, 2025, as dawn was just breaking, employees of Jiangsu Feiteer Communications Co., Ltd. set off on an unforgettable one-day tour of Zhenjiang, filled with anticipation. This carefully planned itinerary included visits to Zhenjiang's most iconic scenic spots known as the "Three Mountains and One Ferry" — Jinshan Mountain, Jiaoshan Mountain, Beigu Mountain, and Xijin Ferry. Moreover, the tour offered an immersive experience in the poetic ambiance of Furong Tower on Beigu Mountain, along with a delightful treat for the taste buds featuring authentic local cuisines, adding a unique touch to everyone's time beyond workdays.

At 6:30 a.m., accompanied by a cool autumn breeze, all participants gathered promptly at the assembly point. Their faces were beaming with excitement as they enthusiastically shared their expectations for the trip. As the coach slowly pulled out, the journey was filled with laughter and chatter. While the scenery outside the window kept receding, everyone's thoughts had already wandered to the ancient city of Zhenjiang, a place rich in historical charm.

For the first stop of our morning itinerary, we arrived at Jinshan Mountain. The core highlight of Jinshan Mountain is Jinshan Temple. This thousand-year-old ancient temple is not only renowned far and wide for its unique landscape of "the temple embracing the mountain" but also hides precious historical traces — inside the temple, there is a horizontal plaque inscribed by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty with his own hand. The calligraphy is forceful and magnificent; when pausing to admire it, one seems to feel the royal family's emphasis on this ancient temple through the strokes of the writing. Beyond its historical heritage, Jinshan Temple is also associated with many well-known mythological legends. The tour guide vividly told the stories of the White Snake flooding Jinshan Mountain and Monk Fahai. The employees listened with great interest — some took out their mobile phones to take photos of the inscribed plaque, while others gathered around the guide to ask about the details of the legends, endowing this ancient temple with a touch of vividness and fun beyond its profound historical sense.
After leaving Jinshan Mountain, we headed to Jiaoshan Mountain for the second stop of the morning. Jiaoshan Mountain is an island surrounded by water in the Yangtze River, known as the "Floating Jade in the River". Moreover, due to its profound Buddhist cultural heritage, it holds an important position in the Buddhist circle. When taking the ferry to the island, the river breeze brushed against our faces, the view was broad, and we took in the magnificent scenery of the Yangtze River in its entirety. After landing on the island, ancient trees towered into the sky, and pavilions and towers were hidden among the green trees, instantly enveloping us in a quiet and elegant atmosphere. Dinghui Temple on the island is a famous ancient temple in the Jiangnan region, where incense burns vigorously. Many employees stopped in front of the temple to feel the tranquility and solemnity of Buddhist culture. Everyone strolled along the winding paths, occasionally pausing to listen to the chirping of birds in the mountains. The comfort of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city relaxed both our bodies and minds.
Around noon, we went to a pre-booked restaurant for lunch. The restaurant had carefully prepared a series of Zhenjiang's specialty dishes, each emitting an attractive aroma. The tender and juicy Zhenjiang Vinegar Spareribs were sweet and sour with a rich vinegar fragrance, leaving a long aftertaste in the mouth. The Crab Roe Soup Dumplings, with thin skins and ample fillings, burst with delicious soup in the mouth when taking a gentle bite, making everyone exclaim in delight. There was also the refreshing and tasty Crystal Pork Trotter Aspic, with tender meat and a delicate texture, which tasted even more unique when paired with the dipping sauce. Everyone sat around together, savoring the authentic local delicacies while chatting about their feelings of visiting Jinshan Mountain and Jiaoshan Mountain in the morning. Amidst the laughter and conversation, the team atmosphere became increasingly harmonious.
For the first stop of the afternoon itinerary, we arrived at Beigu Mountain. Beigu Mountain is famous for its precipitous terrain and is an excellent place to enjoy the scenery of the Yangtze River. Furong Tower, located on the mountain, is even more the "cultural highlight" of this trip. Climbing up along the steep stone steps was somewhat strenuous, but everyone encouraged each other and finally reached Furong Tower smoothly. Standing in front of the tower, the tour guide explained the cultural stories here in detail — Furong Tower became famous because of the poem Seeing Xin Jian Off at Furong Tower by Wang Changling, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. In addition to the eternal line "If my friends in Luoyang should ask about me, tell them my heart is as pure as ice in a jade vase", the guide also shared other poems written by poets here, talking about the background of the poems and their emotional connotations in a vivid and engaging way. The employees listened carefully and occasionally looked out at the scenery of the Yangtze River beyond the tower, as if transcending into that poetic era through the integration of the poems and the real scenery. Furthermore, the guide also mentioned the story of Liu Bei, a figure from the Three Kingdoms period, taking a bride at Beigu Mountain, allowing everyone to appreciate the historical legend here while feeling the cultural charm.

After leaving Beigu Mountain, we headed to Xijin Ferry for the final stop of our afternoon itinerary. Xijin Ferry is an ancient street with a history of over a thousand years. The bluestone slab roads wind and twist, and the ancient buildings on both sides are arranged in a neat yet irregular manner. The brick carvings and wood engravings are filled with the unique charm of the water towns in the Jiangnan region. The ancient street is lined with shops: there are small stores selling Zhenjiang's characteristic handicrafts such as paper cuttings and clay figurines, traditional snack shops emitting a fragrant aroma, and museums showcasing the historical changes of Xijin Ferry. Everyone strolled leisurely along the ancient street — some walked into handicraft stores to pick out souvenirs, while others bought a bowl of Zhenjiang's signature sweet congee to taste. Sunlight filtered through the gaps of the ancient buildings and fell on the bluestone slabs; time seemed to slow down at this moment, allowing everyone to fully enjoy this sense of leisure and freedom.
At 5:30 p.m. (17:30), the one-day itinerary came to a successful end. Everyone boarded the coach to return with a reluctant mood. Although the journey was somewhat tiring, every face was filled with a contented smile. This one-day tour of Zhenjiang not only allowed everyone to appreciate the historical legends of Jinshan Mountain, the Buddhist culture of Jiaoshan Mountain, the poetic charm of Beigu Mountain, and the ancient street style of Xijin Ferry, but also enhanced the communication and friendship among employees through delicious food and interactions — adding a vivid and memorable chapter to the corporate culture construction of Jiangsu Feiteer Communications Co., Ltd. It is believed that this memory, which combines natural scenery, historical culture, and the warmth of the team, will remain in everyone's hearts forever.
